Stephen Hastings (Chef Claudio)

Stephen HastingsMr. Hastings was born in the Principality of Liechtenstein, as part of the family Royal…Philipe and Madeline Royal, the Groundskeepers. For the entire country. It is a small place. The constant threat of annexation by the House of Habsburg finally took its toll…and wishing to escape another bloody coup, the Royals fled to Switzerland. Unfortunately, through some mishap at the border crossing, young Stephen got separated from his family, and rather than face the unbelievably lengthy red tape for which the Swiss government is famous, the boy ran off into the Alps, where rumor has it he was raised by wolves. In actuality, it was by a traveling band of mercenary Shepherds: Alan, Cybil and the gang…forming a bond of his love of aviation with theatrics. He soon found his way to the New World, and following the lead of Cortez and Columbus, burned his vessel, thus insuring his stay. However, since he had made his journey in a high altitude weather balloon, this proved to be not the wisest of moves…the gas envelop ignited and the ensuing explosion caused quite a stir with the locals, thinking they had been invaded by aliens (not those from New Jersey), or that more A-Bomb testing had returned, or worse, a film company was in town. Anyway, all of the townsfolk ran off to work at that new, exciting thing – Disney world. They now live in long, meandering lines. But are very happy. After many a delightful summer in the Minors as a relief pitcher, equipment manager and bus driver, Hastings joined the Circus, and came West…to Circus Headquarters. He now splits his time between the lovely hamlet of Burbank and the Large Hadron Collider, where he has a regular spot in the weekend revue…“Cern This”. Bon soire, and bon chance…
